Novacon Construction Inc is a boutique residential construction company located in the east end of Toronto. We specialize in large scale renovations and home additions. Quality workmanship and a high emphasis on customer service are the main reason behind our growth and success. We are looking for someone that is looking to grow with the company and is a long term, dedicated team player. Applicants should be very detail oriented and have good knowledge of quickbooks accounting software and be open to learning our client management software. We offer a great working environment and include a full benefit package to all of our staff.
Responsibilities and Duties
Account Receivables/Payables: invoicing, reminders and collections.Verify accuracy of various documents including customers invoices, cash receipts, supplier invoices and post information to accounting software, reconcile accounts.Proof and validate all timesheets and invoices for payment and process contractor invoices.Prepare payroll cheques and make journal entries into QuickBooks. Perform bank reconciliation.HST, Source Deductions, WSIB Remittances.
Assist with administration work as needed including working with our project management software(will train).Answer phone calls and respond to voicemails. Receive incoming mail and packages.Order and manage Office stationery.Data entry. Maintain filing system etc..
Qualifications and Skills
Excellent telephone, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge/previous experience in bookkeeping financial record keeping.
Knowledge/previous experience with QuickBooks is a must.
Speak and write fluent English.

Salary: $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
