Summerhill is currently looking for reliable individuals to join our dynamic customer service team!

An ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, customer service orientation and enjoy clerical/administrative type work.

Position: Administrative

Job Type: 3 month contract, opportunity for extension

Hours: Full time , Monday – Friday 9am -5pm or 8am – 4pm

Hourly Wage: $15/hour

Location: Toronto

Job Summary:

Summerhill Group designs and implements Energy Efficiency and Demand Response programs. The Customer Service Representative will work on The Heating and Cooling Incentive program which offers incentives to customers that have purchased an eligible furnace or air conditioner for their home. Representatives will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and clerical type tasks which will take place in a fast pace, friendly and team-oriented environment.

Main Responsibilities include :

  • Screen and approve customer applications
  • Receive inbound calls, resolve client inquiries and escalate issues to senior staff as needed
  • Perform outbound calls to contractors and customers
  • Convey appropriate information and provide resolutions through various communication channels in a timely manner
  • Build rapport with clients over the phone by demonstrating a high degree of customer service
  • Perform various clerical type duties as assigned by your manager

Job Requirements:

  • Administrative or Customer Service experience is a definite asset
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strong oral and verbal communication to customers in English
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team setting
  • Result and detail oriented – able to accurately approve applications and address customer concerns efficiently
  • Superior interpersonal skills with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
  • Demonstrate sound judgement and maintains confidentiality
  • Demonstrate strong attendance and punctuality
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Applications and internet applications with an aptitude to learn internal software and other relevant applications
  • Bilingualism is an asset but not required
