To make the company vision and mission comes true; The Ottawa Hospital is open for new position as Administrative Assistant in Ottawa, ON start from February 2018. Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.
Basic Requirements
  • Community College diploma or equivalent;
  • Medical secretarial course or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of previous related secretarial experience;
  • Experience booking appointments, consultations,procedures and filing patients reports;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology;
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Email applications, MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and Adobe;
  • Experience with voice recognition technology (i.e. Dragon) an asset;
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills required to coordinate multiple activities;
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision;
  • Good judgement, initiative and excellent, interpersonal skills;
  • Proficiency in speaking and comprehending both English and French (Level A-) is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures;
  • Experience using OASIS;
  • Experience using SMS.
