  • Toronto, ON (Full Time)
Viewpoint, a division of LifeMark Health, is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator. This individual will work out of 4 Lansing Square, North York, ON in our assessments division .
The main responsibilities of this position include:
  • Timely review of clinical reports and forms for quality, continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling and grammar
  • Confirm reports are consistent with any legislative requirements or standards related to the customer segment
  • Ensure reports are completed in accordance with customers' expectations
  • Liaise with clinicians to discuss reports and provide guidance and feedback as required
  • Ensure documentation/reports are expressed in a manner easily understood by the end user/customer
  • Assist clinical staff with utilization of report templates/ standardized formats
  • Maintain accurate records utilizing web-based tracking systems to monitor timelines, due dates and reporting expectations
  • Support clinicians to ensure timely delivery of reports for both quality assurance review and to the customer
  • Participate in training sessions for clinical and administrative staff
Preferred qualifications:
  • A Regulated healthcare professional with at least 3 years of experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation as it relates to key customers (e.g. knowledge of the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS))
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, independent problem solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment and/or adjudication experience
  • Solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills
  • Has solid working knowledge of MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and navigate new systems
  • Flexible and team-oriented
  • French/English fluency both verbal and written is considered a strong asset
  • Catastrophic claims and AMA Guides experience also considered an asset
